Welcome to ChinaBizCheck. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure experience across our mobile app, tablet portal, and desktop platforms (collectively, the "Service"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service to search, verify, and generate corporate due diligence reports.
01
Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Voluntarily
Search Queries: The company names, Pinyin, or 18-digit Unified Social Credit Codes (USCC) you input to perform lookup queries.
Customer Support Communications: Any information you provide when contacting us at support@chinabizcheck.org, including your email address, invoice queries, or technical feedback.
B. Transactional and Billing Information
One-Time Payments: Our Service operates on a pay-per-report model. Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways (PayPal or Stripe). We do not store your credit card details, bank credentials, or full transaction records on our servers. The billing gateway processes your payment and provides us with a transaction token to authorize report generation.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data
Device Characteristics: Standard operational logs — IP address, operating system, and browser/device metadata — used to optimize performance across all platforms.
Service Usage Statistics: Anonymous analytics on search volume, latency, and report export status to maintain API reliability.
D. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
Our iOS application uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain device identifiers and usage data to deliver relevant ads.
Advertising Identifier (IDFA / GAID): A resettable, device-level identifier used for ad targeting and measurement.
Ad Interaction Data: Impressions, clicks, and engagement signals.
Approximate Location: Derived from IP address only — not GPS.
AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of interest-based advertising at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
02
How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly to execute requested searches and maintain system integrity:
Report Generation: Using your queried company identifiers to fetch public registry data and format bilingual PDF due diligence reports.
Delivery & History Verification: Confirming report generation status to deliver your downloaded compliance documents.
Secure Payment Authorization: Working with payment processors to confirm transaction approvals for individual reports.
Advertising: Displaying ads through Google AdMob to support continued service availability.
Customer Care: Handling refund reviews, transmission issues, or general support queries.
03
Data Retention and Deletion
Search Metadata: Generated reports and their search parameters are stored temporarily in an encrypted environment for up to 90 days to facilitate re-download in the event of interruptions.
Your Control: You may request permanent deletion of your search and query history at any time by emailing support@chinabizcheck.org. We will purge all relevant files and metadata within 30 days of receiving a verified request.
04
Third-Party Sharing and Data Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share relevant data only with the following trusted service providers:
Corporate Registry API Gateways: Real-time lookup parameters (company name or USCC) are securely transmitted to Mainland China business registry services to fetch active government records. No personal searcher information is passed to these registries.
Payment Gateways (PayPal, Stripe): Secure payment processing under their respective privacy policies.
Google AdMob: Advertising identifier and anonymised usage signals for ad delivery. See Section 1(D).
When using ChinaBizCheck, search queries are routed globally to query Chinese corporate registries. By performing queries and generating reports, you acknowledge and consent to international data processing in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
06
Children's Privacy
ChinaBizCheck is intended solely for use by business professionals aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@chinabizcheck.org so that we may delete it promptly.
07

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
The right to access information we hold related to your billing transactions or search history.
The right to request deletion of your historical report downloads and associated metadata.
