1. On-Device Financial Data Processing

Your privacy is our structural foundation. Unlike cloud-based scanning products, TaxReceipt Pro operates under an offline-first, zero-knowledge architecture:

• No Server Uploads: Scanned physical receipts, extracted line items, merchant names, tax amounts, and calculated deduction fields are stored exclusively in your local device storage.
• On-Device OCR: Text recognition (OCR) is executed entirely on-device using Apple Vision Framework. No receipt images or document snapshots are transmitted to external servers.
• No external database: We never host or backup your financial records. Everything stays where it belongs — on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Location Information & Geolocation

The app offers a visual Geographic Footprint Map feature. Address information is extracted from receipt text (merchant address, postal codes) and resolved to geographic coordinates using Apple's geocoding service (CLGeocoder).

• Address strings found on receipts may be sent to Apple's servers via CLGeocoder to resolve map coordinates. Only the address text from the receipt is transmitted — no receipt images, financial data, or personal information is included.
• We do not track your live GPS device location, and we do not transmit coordinate data to any third-party servers.
• Apple's handling of geocoding requests is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• No geolocation data is collected, stored on our servers, shared, or sold by us.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

TaxReceipt Pro offers a free version supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the following data to provide relevant ads, measure campaign effectiveness, and prevent fraud:

• IP address (approximate location for ad contextualization)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size, advertising identifier IDFA if authorized)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, conversion events)
• App usage signals (limited to ad performance, not personal scanning content)

Your choices: On iOS devices, you may enable "Limit Ad Tracking" (Settings → Privacy → Advertising) to disable interest-based advertising. Even if you allow tracking, your scanned receipts and personal financial data are never shared with AdMob.

4. Payment Processing & Subscriptions (RevenueCat)

To manage Premium subscriptions and restore purchases, the application interfaces with RevenueCat.

• All transactions are securely handled directly via Apple App Store In-App Purchases; we never see your full payment details.
• RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction tokens (purchase time, subscription state, entitlement tier) to grant you premium rights. This data is anonymized and cannot be tied back to your identity or scanned receipts.

5. Third-Party Libraries & Limited Tracking

Our mobile application does not integrate intrusive marketing trackers, cross-app profiling tools, or analytics SDKs beyond the essential services disclosed above (AdMob for advertising and RevenueCat for subscriptions).

• No social media SDKs, crash reporting that collects user data, or fingerprinting scripts are present.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any user information.
• TaxReceipt Pro is a utility tool designed to maximize your peace of mind and respect your data boundaries.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

TaxReceipt Pro is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete that information immediately.
• We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's app usage and guide them to use age-appropriate services.

7. Your Rights and Data Erasure

Since zero percent of your financial files are hosted on our accounts, you hold ultimate sovereign control over your data. You can permanently destroy your scanning log libraries at any time by:

• Deleting individual receipts directly inside the app.
• Uninstalling TaxReceipt Pro from your iOS device (which removes all local app storage).
• Contacting us to request deletion of any support correspondence.

We do not have access to your receipts or scan history — therefore we cannot recover or view them on your behalf.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or feature changes. Any modifications will be posted at this URL and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
